Madea's Witness Protection is a 2012 American comedy movie directed, composed, and produced by Tyler Perry. This was the fourteenth film in the Tyler Perry film franchise and the seventh in the Madea franchise. It is the fourth Tyler Perry film not tailored from a play, along with The Family That Preys, Daddy's Tiny Girls, and Very good Deeds, as well as the 1st Madea movie not tailored from a engage in.

George Needleman (Levy), a higher amount CFO in New York City, claims his son that he will take him to his Saturday afternoon baseball match soon after he receives again from the place of work. He receives to his business office and comes to a harrowing scene his co-workers are shredding documents and are in a condition of chaos. He sees his boss (Arnold), who informs him that his organization is a Ponzi scheme operate by the mob. He is becoming accused of spearheading the plan and laundering resources and has to enter his family members into a witness protection software. The plan relocates them to a refuge in which no a single will consider to appear for them: Madea and Joe's property in Ga.

In the meantime, Jake (Miller) - whose ailing father (Amos) is a church pastor who has put him in demand of the church's mortgage fund - levels a robbery (which is unsuccessful). Jake, who has a criminal previous but whose father trusts that he has turned more than a new leaf, is trying to recuperate church resources that he has invested in Needleman's company without his father's knowledge or consent, only to drop the entire investment in the Ponzi plan.

The Needhams' 1st conference with Madea and joe is uncomfortable and bodes improperly for how everyone will get together. However, in excess of time, Madea (Perry) helps Kate (Richards) and Cindy (Campbell) relate greater to each and every other and to other household members, whilst Joe (Perry) and Kate support George turn out to be a lot more assured, far more in contact with his surroundings and individuals about him, and far more efficient in channeling his emotions.

Barbara (Roberts) displays dual sensibilities about "colored people". On one hand, she mistakes Madea for a domestic named Sadie, treats "Sadie" imperiously, and threatens to get her fired. On the other hand, she acknowledges Joe as a guy she slept with several years ago, and relates to him seductively she also enjoys Negro spirituals and frequently asks to be taken to the African American church down the avenue from Madea's residence.

Pastor Nelson's sermon inspires George to understand a sample in his company's documents that describes where 10% of the stolen money have been stashed. After church, seeing Whoopi Goldberg's Oda Mae Brown character in Ghost conjures up George to include Madea in a strategy to redivert funds from the "stashed" accounts again to the charities whose investments have been stolen in the Ponzi plan. The strategy demands George (who disguises himself to steer clear of detection by the Malone mob "household"), Jake, and Madea (who assumes the id of an upscale girl named Treasured Jackson) to vacation to New York Metropolis, and for "Valuable" to meet with a bank manager to transfer funds from the laundered accounts to the reputable charities. Madea effectively accomplishes her mission, despite the fact that she improvises equally an expansion of her assumed identity (by pretending to be the oldest Jackson sister) and of the accounts to which "Precious's" resources are transferred.

When George and Jake get started to share their prepare with Brian (Perry), he cuts them off and advises them it is unlawful. Even so, following they pull off the caper, Brian informs George that his cooperation with the authorities and his profitable efforts to return the charities' cash have given Brian leverage to sentence George to probation and waive a demo and jail time.
Kate points out to Brian that the situation has strengthened their connection and their family, and that it is a blessing in disguise. On leaving Madea's residence, Cindy and Howie inquire if they can come back again to visit.

Before returning to New York, the Needhams visit Pastor Nelson's church one last time. The Pastor and Jake melt away the home loan papers and the entire congregation celebrates the mortgage's being paid out off, and the Needhams get pleasure from the Negro spirituals. Madea also enjoys the non secular songs from her front porch, albeit in a much more secular way.
